What is the loud slam

The All High School Slam is a day of poetry slam competition. Poets from each school come together to compete against one another. Each high school will compete in 3 rounds of poetry. The highest scoring school from each round will continue to the next round. The highest scoring school from the final round will win the slam. The winning school will win a cash prize, their videos will be used on the NPL's youtube and promotion, and their school will hold a championship title for 1 year.
How would your school qualify for the all high school slam?
4-6 members slam team members, per school.
To participate you must attend 6 or more workshops
( 3-4 ) poems, a fourth poem will be needed in the case of a tie breaker.
( 1 ) - authorized school personnel, (i.e.- Authorized Personnel is any adult affiliated with your school who has been given official permission from the principal to work with the students of the school and the Newark Public Library
( 1 ) student or adult volunteer

All students must show up together and on-time, accompanied with their school personnel.
How the competition is set up.
There will be 3 rounds in the Slam.
The performers with the highest score from the first round will continue on to the second round.
The performers with the highest score from the second round will continue on Final Round.
The highest scoring performer from the final round will win the entire slam.
Round 1 - 3min 30 sec piece (poem or rhyme)
Round 2 - 1min 30 sec piece (poem or rhyme)
Round 3- 3min 30sec piece (poem or rhyme)
Round 4 - 3min 30sec piece (poem or rhyme) only in the case of a tie-breaker
What is a group poem?
A groups poem is created when 2 or more poets from a team perform 1 poem together, group poems are welcomed and contribute to your overall creativity. A group poem cannot have more than 4 performers, and must follow the same time requirements.
- In order to participate in the slam you must attend 6 or more workshops.
- Be on time for attendance at the beginning of slam.
- Respect all performers & guests.
- No offensives language towards another's culture, sexuality, or religion. No hate language.
- Practice Free Speech with a thoughtfulness.
- All performers must stay to watch the entire slam.
-Plagiarism will automatically disqualify you from the slam. Any writing used but not written by the performer is, consider to be, plagiarism
-You cannot repeat a poem.
